Prepared on our Ontario farm, this interactive cat toy wand is designed to engage your cat’s natural hunting instincts through movement, texture, and scent. The wand features a smooth wooden dowel handle, natural wooden beads, and a flexible bouncy cord, finished with two dehydrated quail wings that move together to closely imitate the motion of a real bird.
The dehydrated quail wings provide a highly engaging sensory experience, with natural feathers and skin that reflect a cat’s ancestral prey. In whole-prey feeding traditions, feathers are a natural component of the feline diet and contribute natural fibre that supports normal digestive movement. When used as a toy, the wings offer realistic enrichment that many cats find deeply satisfying.
The wings are attached with small metal hardware to allow secure use during interactive play. Because of this hardware, the toy is sold for play purposes and cats should always be supervised while using it.
